# Loot Battle Mechanics

**Buy Your Way In with Mining Hashrate**: As you enter the Loot Battle, you must buy your way in using your real-time mining hashrate based on Bitcoin. This adds an extra layer of strategy and investment to the game. The best players will have the opportunity to win each other's hashrate, turning the stakes even higher.

**General Description**: The Loot Battle takes place on designated days each week, typically over the weekend, and lasts for one hour. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:

1. **Phases of Buy-In**:
   * **Level 1**: 1 hashrate – basic amount of items dropped.
   * **Level 2**: 2 hashrates – moderate amount of items dropped.
   * **Level 3**: 3 hashrates – maximum amount of items dropped.

Each Loot Battle hosts 50 players and is set in a confined area where loot drops randomly. The objective is to gather as many items as possible without getting killed. Upon death, all of your loot is dropped to the ground and can be claimed by other players. After dying, players have a 60-second respawn timer during which they can access their bank to select new items to spawn with.

2. **Respawning Mechanics**:
   * **Standard Respawn**: 3 seconds to return to the game.
   * **Cursed of Death Penalty**: If a player dies twice within a minute, a ‘Curse of Death’ adds 10 seconds to the respawn time, totaling 13 seconds. Further deaths in the subsequent minute add another 10 seconds, up to a maximum of 33 seconds. Surviving a minute without dying lifts the curse.
3. **Bank Mechanic**:
   * The bank respawns randomly on the map every 2 minutes. Players must navigate to the bank to safely deposit their items, ensuring they don’t lose everything upon death.
4. **Winning Hashrate**:
   * Performance is measured by the total number of players you kill. The top 10 players based on performance will receive 80% of the hashrate from the game, with the remaining 20% going to the game owners to cover expenses.

#### Loot Battle Mechanics

**Starting Points**:

* Team 1 begins in the Dragon Fields.
* Team 2 begins in the Ghost Ship Valley.

**Death Mechanics**:

* Upon death, a player drops all carried loot and respawns at their base within 3 seconds. Dying twice within a minute adds a 10-second penalty to respawn time, with an additional 10 seconds for subsequent deaths, up to a maximum of 33 seconds.

**High-Value Player (HVP)**:

* The HVP, similar to a Queen in chess, becomes marked on the map for carrying the most valuable loot. Teams can strategize to protect their HVP or distribute loot among team members to win.

**Upgrade Base of Operations**:

* Teams can sacrifice collected items to upgrade their base, moving it closer to the enemy and reducing respawn times. Each upgrade level moves the base 2 tiles and reduces respawn time by 0.5 seconds. Higher levels offer additional benefits such as increased health, strength, or stamina.
  * **Team 1 Starts at**: Tile D19
  * **Team 2 Starts at**: Tile X30

**Upgrade Levels**:

* Upgrade 1-6: Move base 2 tiles, reduce respawn by 0.5 seconds.
* Upgrade 7-11: Move base 2 tiles, add 3% health, strength, or stamina.

#### Elements of the Loot Battle

1. **Meteorite Drops**:
   * **Ethearium (White)**
   * **Bitonium (Green)**
   * **Cryptonium (Blue)**
2. **Item Drops**:
   * Items rain from the sky and are visible by their icons, dropping every 3.6 seconds with a total of 500 items per game:
     * 200 Common
     * 150 Uncommon
     * 75 Rare
     * 50 Epic
     * 25 Legendary
3. **Food and Hidden Stashes**:
   * Random food drops.
   * Hidden Nova cash stashes that respawn randomly, which players can collect automatically when nearby.

In the Loot Battle, strategy, skill, and luck intertwine. Prepare to navigate a thrilling environment, gather loot, upgrade bases, and battle to claim hashrate supremacy. Will you rise as the ultimate champion in Elements of a Soul?
