# Story Lore ### **Welcome to Nova City** The world January 11, 2099. The world survived the wrath of nature. The war against the Legion was still ongoing, yet Central Europe, the deserts of Morocco to the lands of Arabia, and the Baltics were cleansed from the Legion. Some called it a safe haven, the beginning of the new free world. And hell, it's crazy. While the old world crumbled, the new world sprouted up like a flower in the first week of summer, and all implied systems of the Legion and the hidden shadow government were erased from existence. However, the new market opened, and only a handful of titans survived, meaning that everyone was fighting over hash rates. And not a little, gangs, and rebel cult-like groups spawned like weeds. But that was perfect for another handful of psychopaths. They called them outlaws. Or like others also call them, the right hand of the faction, elite mercenary warriors protecting freedom for humanity against the legion, and its dreadful merciless army sabotaging our development. Even though they are losing the war, the punks don’t give up. But if there is a threat, the faction sends the outlaws to clean it up. Their reward? Sweet hash rates. Stacking them babies up like it's their birthday. It makes the IT guys and the small business owners crazy, and some say it's unfair. Although you don't hear the outlaws complain when the white shirts ask them for help. They are there, on the spot, right on time. Ready to clean the job, claim the loot, then celebrate with a feast, booze, puffing crazy designer vapes. At night, they boast about their quests, cry about their lost brothers, and sing to honour them. They can be a pain in the ass, but everyone respects them, for they are always a step ahead of the faction. Some say they are creative, but others say it's because they have great spirits. Still, 30% of the civilization thinks they are nothing more than a bunch of murdering harsh rate junkies. Yet, I see them as heroes. And today you’ve decided to be one of them. You want to do it your way, I know. That's why you came to this city. A city well known for creating outlaws. I don’t know what it is. But thank god for the order of the white wolf and its code. Never harm civilians, and always protect them. The last one of the three never fights in the city but deals with it in the wild lands. Thanks to this code that every guild follows, the city grew at a fast phase. This is the border of the wild lands, home of the guild of the wild wolf. Wanna be a miner? Sure, you can find all mining equipment in town. Want the latest upgrade? Not a big deal! You can find the best scientists and labs from all around Earth in this town. Want to get the best armour? Easy! You see where there are outlaws, there are the best markets because outlaws have coins! Because they hunt for that juicy hash rate. The town is led by the best of the best! The major the United Faction has to offer. Not only because this city is home to outlaws, and normal citizens are a minority, but she is also chosen to honour the white wolf. Together with the guild, they passed the code on a global scale, creating peace and order around the world. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to check the request board ath the guild, for missions. Occasionally, they post a request and the rewards are sweeter than cake. Don’t forget or you will miss out. Then we have the bars, clothing stores, food stores, etc., etc… you know the deal. I know you like it here, but I see something else in your eyes… you want to start your guild… Sure. Do you, but make sure you mastered the basic skills before you run wild? ## Quest— familiar Chaos Prelude May 22, 2099 **Act 0.** As the new aspiring Outlaw steps out the container, he is welcomed by the organized chaos of the city. As the new aspiring outlaw steps out of the teleport container into a new cybernetic metaverse-driven crypto city, they can't help but feel amazed at all the outstanding sights and sounds around them. This is truly a wonderful place, and it's only going to get better in the years to come! The city is full of all kinds of outlaws, from those who just want to have fun and blow off some steam to those who are trying to make a name for themselves in the world. There's something for everyone here, and it's only going to get better as the city grows! Immediately he is welcomed by a friendly woman with brilliant armour.
**Act 1 Quest—Familiar chaos** The moon's reaching its apex, civilians, and outlaws enjoyed the splendour of the peaceful evening in Nova city. It was one of those days when everything felt slow, but not in a bad way. It was just that the rush of the everyday hustle was gone. The people were eating in the finest restaurants, there were performances in every corner, and even the blacksmiths and engineers laid down their tools. It was magical, and in the background you could hear the vans and beliefs of the mining station and quantum computers, the birds, and the leaves. It was just perfect, and all honoured the code of the great white wolf, thus before his statue, dozens of flowers were stacked upon each other, or placed in beautiful faces between vanilla candles. However, a sudden explosion echoed through the city, yet know one knew what happened, yet they all felt it in the ground, even the furniture shook. Then the shockwave reached the city walls, yet seemingly travelled through it, this blew everything improper. It was so powerful that it travelled all the way to the next city yet stopped. The head of the headquarters of the UF immediately sent its units on expedition, yet also informed the Order of the white wolf. Master Sabayuko Summoned Shugo, Aniela and Inoa to find out what was going on; thus they prepared to make a journey far into the wild lands, to find its source. When the wave hit, Shugo and Inoa recognized its energy. Then the master knew what it could be thus immediately contacted the leader of the UF, to stop its expedition. However, they were already too late, and the Bravo battalion was crushed by the unknown power. Sensing its energy, Shugo and Inoa travelled to the source. But when they found the battalion, they found them under the spell of chaos, morphed by darkness. The young warriors fought against the possessed army. However, when the fight suddenly stopped, all demonic soldiers stood still. She arrived. The woman looked similar to them, yet two black spiky horns came out of the side of her head, and the two warriors saw her orange reptilian eyes. The warriors felt her power, heavy as if gravity multiplied. Her chaos leaked as poison through the woods, morphing animals, birds, and the undead. The ground shook. The clap of thunder ripped through the sky. Lightning split the darkness, and from the depths of the earth, they came. Demons, jinns, and spirits possessing animals and elementals erupted forth in a surge of malice and evil. The Nephilim had called them forth, and they would have their revenge. For too long had they been banished to the dark corners of existence. Now was their time to claim dominion over all. The Nephilim have been summoned from the chaos realm. Demons, jinns, and spirits possessing animals and elementals pour forth from the abyss. The world is engulfed in darkness. Humanity hangs by a thread. Only those with the power to fight back against the fiends can save us now. Warriors brave enough to face down the demons, magicians with the strength to command the elements, and cleaners who can track down any creature at night. But even they may not be enough. The forces of evil are vast and powerful. Unless we find a way to stop them, humanity is doomed. The young cleaners gave everything they had, yet could not withstand her powerful black inferno’s. After slaying many, eventually they were pushed into a corner. Facing death, Ray had no other choice but to summon the forbidden spell. Yet, he did it and opened a portal into hyperspace and dragged Inoa with him. The portal opened up in front of the guild of the White wolf; therefore they dropped on the ground and passed out. 3 Days later, they finally woke up, and told master Seven about everything. Master Seven told Shugo and Inoa that a few guilds already were on their way, and then he got a message that since then, they all lost contact. Immediately they travelled back to the headquarters of the United Factions and told the board about the treaty. Without any delay, the news spread against the nation's and soon all factions and citizens were informed. On May 25, 2099 the wild lands was an official danger zone, and all citizens were not allowed to go unless they were part of a guild, an outlaw, or part of the defence force of the United Factions. Yet even though there was a great unknown treat, some Outlaws saw it as a perfect chance to get ahead in the hash rate race. And after the death of the great white wolf, the Guild Wars were still ongoing. Yet, drastic times create new heroes. The order of the white wolf and the UF continued their investigation to stop the demon, but others took the chance to build their guild and become the best in the game. ## Questline ## 0 **Summary note 1: New Meat \[Level 1 t/m 5]** A fresh new season started, and numerous cadets finished military school, now all eager to become an outlaw. People all over the globe travelled to Nova City and used a secret container to teleport themselves to the city and begin their Outlaw journey. \[Player can choose what to do, and a guide explains him/her a bit about the city and explains about the map] \[The player can now play the game, he can also head to the tutorial area to learn more, or he can visit the shops to learn more, or he can use the Town guide AI system to learn more]

Yes it can, the whole reason why you're here is to make a name for yourself right? I get it, we all have to start somewhere. We'll feel free to start your journey, but first make sure you check in at the Outlaw registration centre where you get your Wallet. This crazy gadget is also a C-Dex. A crypto DEX that can register all sorts of things. If you need further information, find me at this spot. You can also ask all AIFY robots for help. He knows all sorts of things about the world. You can find him at the town hall. I marked a few locations on your map, so make sure you check them out before you start your adventure or business. However, make sure you follow the Code of the White Wolf. Strafe off, and you will be blacklisted as a Rogue Outlaw, and I don’t think you want the whole United Faction after you.” **“Make sure you have a gear set with a weapon before you start your journey, you might be in trouble without them.”**

They battle spawns of chaos and make it into the Wild lands.*** ***#1***** NPC Ann Sun “Hey, welcome to the guild. I’m sorry, we are very busy right now, so we don’t have time to have a little chit-chat.”** Player “No, I came to help” **NPC “Oh, sorry my bad. Well, if you want to help, you probably heard about the shockwave?”** Player “Yes I did, that's why I’m here!” Player “No, I didn’t, but I want to help!” Player “No I didn’t, please tell me more.” 1\. NPC Ann Sun “My name is Ann Sun, I’m a sergeant of the UF, but mostly assist the Guild in mission, that made me a member too. However, a couple of days a go, the city was struck by a shockwave that came from far, but the source its location is still unknown… There was no heavy damage, but it brought chaos. A battalion of the United factions went on expedition but became radio silent after a couple of hours. When the head captain of the guild sent our cleaners to see what happened, they found the battalion all death, and morphed by Chaos. The order of the White wolf thinks they are dealing with multidimensional beings. And that means the Legion is active again. Please talk to Ray, you can find him inside at the round table. Please make pace, we are leaving soon.” 2\. NPC Ann Sun “Good to hear that, our guild can use some extra muscle. The order of the White wolf thinks the Nephilim are behind this. And that means the Legion is active again. Please talk to Ray for a short briefing, you can find him inside at the round table. Please make pace, we are leaving soon.” ***#2 The player enters the Guild and finds Ray at the round table with Inoa, Aniela, Master Sabayuko and master Seven*** ***#3***** Ray “You came to assist the order. Good, I already had a feeling more would join are mission.”** Aniela “I scanned him, he is clean.” **Inoa “Hmm, ill keep a close eye on this one.”** Master Sabayuko “I apologize for that Rookie, but after the death of our Leader, moral is very low. But it seems you're alright. She \[name NPC that let the player inside] has a good eye sensing bad vibes. We don’t need them right now. Well, you're here to join our mission, so Ray! Tell the Rookie about our mission.” **Ray“ Sure Master, we've wasted enough time. After the shockwave, chaos is spreading across the wild lands. We think the Legion is behind this incident, but are intelligence department, including that of the UN, can’t find the source of this dark energy. Inoa and I barely made it out of there, last time. We have to explore the wild lands to get more clues that lead us to the source. Get ready and meat Inoa, Aniela and me at the main gate.”** Master Sabayuko“ Good Speed Rookie.” **Master Seven “Ray! Make sure this Rookie comes back alive, he/she might be a great asset in the future. And Inoa, keep a close I on him, he might as well be a Rogue. The one that's behind the Head Captain's death”** Ray, Inoa & Aniela“Yes sir!” **Ray “ Oh, before I forget, You can read about the mission in the mission logs you can find in the round table . If you need additional information about the mission” *****The player can be read about the prelude of the mission*** ***#4 The player heads to the main gate where he finds the NPC’s waiting on him/her*** ***#5***** Ray “So you came after all, Aniela thought you already chickens out, and I’m not even going to tell you what Inoa thought.”** Inoa “Guess I was wrong Kid, good you came. **Ray“ Now let's head out”** ***#6 The player exits Nova and finds himself at the in wild lands. Immediately the squad finds a blood trail heading deeper in to the forest.*** ***#7***** Ray “Let's follow it, and let's see where it takes us.”** ***#8 The player finds a small battlefield and a death deer, where a chaos creature us sucking on its blood.*** ***#9***** Ray “That's a chaos creature, from the depths of the chaos realm. It has to be the work of the Nephilim. We have to analyse them. Rookie, show us what you got.”** ***#10 Immediately it screams, and more chaos creatures enter the battlefield, and a wizard walks in the midst of them. The guild attacks. After defeating the wizard's spawn, the wizard has no one to run. He is surrounded.*** ***#11***** Ray “Aniela, put him to sleep.” *****Aniela, performs a spell and the wizard falls asleep.*** Ray “Inoa, can you read his mind?” **Inoa “Easy.’” *****She lays her palm on his head and starts to read his mind*** Ray “Well, what do you see? **Inoa “it seems he came from a camp heading North, the path is vague, and it seems they are tempering with the zero-field. Wait, I see something else. It's a large white crystal like stone.”** Ray“ That's the Chaos stone. It has to be them. Inoa, can you show us the way to the camp?” **Inoa “Yes I can, but that means I cannot fight, the chaos is strong, so I need all focus to make sure I won't make mistakes”** Ray “that's fine. We will protect you. We have to hurry because if that is the chaos stone, I have a feeling they want to summon Rovagug. Let's Go!” ***#12 The player heads to the next location*** ## 2 **Summary note 3: Rogue Outlaws: The Quest for the Chaos Stone** Rogue outlaws are rampaging to get answers to find where the stone is hidden, spreading chaos across the lands, the order goes on a journey to investigate, but have to be quick because it is not the source of the shockwave, but can be a problem in the future. ***Quest: The Rogue Outlaw sends his goons to stop the guild from moving further into the wild lands. This gives them the signal, they are heading in the right direction. Defeat the Outlaw goons]*** ***#13 The guild follows the path Inoa sees within her mind's eye, but suddenly, they can feel a disturbance in the atmosphere. Thus, they stop within the city ruins that turned into a small trading village over the years.*** **Ray “Stop, you can feel that right”** Aniela “I can feel it too.” **Inoa “I think they know where we are, so we might as well enter the village.”** Ray “Okay, I get it. Rookie watch your six, this might as well be another ambush**.** ***#14 Thus, they enter the ruins within the forest. And see the damage caused.*** **Ray “I have a feeling we are being watched.** **Aniela “I think you're right!** **Inoa “get Ready Rookie”** ***#15 Thus, they enter the ruins within the forest. . Then a Rogue outlaw Thomas steps from the shadows with his morphed shadow creatures surrounding the members of the white Wolf and the Rookie.*** **Rogue grunt Thomas “Well, well, well, what do we have here. And it seems the guild brought fresh meat? What a treat.** Ray “What did you do to this village, maniac! What is your business here? **Rogue grunt Thomas “Simple, to stop you guys from reaching the source…”** Inoa “How can he know?” **Aniela “Did they used spies? Or was it the Rookie”** Rookie “No, impossible I just arrived in town.” **Ray “Aniela, stay focused, that's precisely what the legion wants. Besides, they are still my number one suspect. Only** they benefit truly from the Guild Wars. **Rogue grunt Thomas “Enough. The White wolf makes me sick, the whole reason I became Rogue. Because that's true freedom.”** ***#16 Rogue attacks and sends his minions first. With ease, they defeat the low-level monsters.*** ***#17***** Rogue grunt Thomas “Impressive, you managed to destroy my little minions”** Ray “Surrender now, you don't stand a chance.” **Rogue grunt Thomas “I’ve been waiting for this day to crush the white wolf. So don’t underestimate me you little brat. You will never get through me because the two generous lords gave me a little upgrade”** ***Rogue throws off his jacket and intense red energy burst from him, the spirit pressure is intense, however the guild members are not impressed.***
**Ray “He is increasing his power. It has to be an enchantment of a Nephilim. But how?** Aniela “It might be, but, didn’t we banish the demi-god into the chaos stone? **Inoa “He is almost ready. Ray, how about Rookie her faces him alone. To prove he is not a spy?** Ray “What do you think Rookie?” **Rookie “Okay let's do it. I will prove that I am on your side”** **Rogue grunt Thomas“Hey, Ray! Is the White wolf too scared to move. Just as I thought, nothing more than cowards. Haha, haha?”** ***The Rookie braces himself for battle and walks***
**Rookie yelled “You’re nothing more than a show-off!”** **Rogue grunt Thomas “What! You… Bastard… How dare you! I show you what true power is.** ***#18 The Rookie battles the Rogue and wins the battle, impressing the members of the White Wolf.*** ***#19***** Ray “Good job Rookie! See you two, he is on our side.”** Aniela “But orders are orders Ray, they are there for a reason.” **Inoa “Hmm, I’m not fully convinced yet. Let's see what happens after.** Ray “you're fine Rookie, don’t worry about those guys. There just a bit… on edge… (…) Hmm, Inoa, can you do your little magic trick? **Inoa “it’s not a trick Ray… Urrg… you can be so annoying sometimes.”** Aniela laughs “No Ray, it was quite funny.” **Inoa “Shut it Aniela!”** Ray “don’t worry about Inoa Rookie. That's just the way she is every so often. Hahaha… She will be busy for a while, let us check if we can eat and rest a bit before we continue are mission, it's important we are fully charged up before we encounter battle.” ***#GM1 Aniela explains about fishing, food game mechanics and rest mechanics.*** ***#GM2***** Aniela “The wild lands are full of edible berries, and fruits enhanced by the change in the world. They can charge you up. But you can also use your alchemy toolkit to prejudice special items. You can also set up a temporary camp to rest.** Aniela “You can find all your items in your inventory, but be wise using them. Some items are rare, and you might have a small chance of getting it again.” **Aniela “Make sure that you cook and use the fish you catch, you don’t want them to rot in your bag. And it stinks like hell, so please be resourceful.** ***#20 The player can walk to Inoa who is reading the body to trigger the next part in the quest*** **Rookie “Inoa? Do you hear me? How is it going?”** Ray joins the chat and Aniela Follows and whispers “Don’t try to disturb her. She is very sensitive in this state. Every sense and emotion is multiplied 9 times, so imagine how intense talking is. **The Rookie knots.** Inoa gradually openers her eyes “I saw it, it seems you were right Ray. They are seeking the chaos stone. And worse, it seems they are in possession of a soul crystal. **Ray “that's not good at all, that means they have the same kind of crystal like me. But how? And how can they use the Soul crystal to locate the chaos stone?** Aniela “The White wolf would know…” **Ray “ I know Aniela… I know… But he is not here any more, and we are his descendants. Meaning that we have to stop them. Its are duty!”** All “Right!” **Ray “Inoa, where to next?”** Inoa “It seems the path leads to an outlaw outpost not far from here. Although I sense something, but it's hard to tell what it is. **Ray “Then we have to go to find out what it is!”**
***#21 The player follows the guild to the next location, where they reach the border of Orion’s Valley, what lies before the desert.*** ## 3 **Summary note 2: Conflict: Battle against the Rogue Guild** After trying to negotiate peace, the Order gets ambushed by the rogue guild. Nonetheless, the Order was one step ahead, the new meat mercenaries attacked in the back from multiple sides, and a battle emerged. They clashed and faced the boss, the Rogue Captain. ***Quest: Defeat the Second wave > Defeat the Boss & Gather intel*** ***The player follows the guild, and they arrive at an old outlaw outpost; thus they observe the outpost from a distance and discuss the mission…*** ***#22***** Ray “It seems we arrived. But I get what you mean Inoa. It feels a kind of strange.”** Aniela “Indeed, what a vague felling.” **Inoa “Yes, good to know that you get it too.** Ray “Let's ask for back up, in case it's another of their stupid ambushes. Rookie, you stay here to lead to back up to the right location. **Aniela “I’m already sending the Coordinates to the guild and to the UN.** Inoa “Sweet, can't wait until I see the fear in their eyes when we lip the table.” **Aniela “They both replied, and the mission is clear.”** Ray “Good, now we act like we don’t know what they are planning, maybe we can get some useful information. Rookie if you're ready, come meet us at the end of the forest.” ***The player follows the guild, talks to Ray and triggers the event. Ray and the guild members enter the village, and within moments they are welcomed by an officer of the guild.*** **Rogue guild officer Steve Willis “Welcome to west gate friends. What brings the White wolf here today?”** Ray “Know something about Chaos stones?” **Rogue guild officer Steve Willis “Chaos stones? Never heard of that? All guild members! Do you know something about a chaos stone?** **Rogue guild members “No! Never heard of it.”** **Rogue guild officer Steve Willis “You see a colleague, I don’t know what you mean?** Ray “Okay… Yet, it’s strange. I remember this outpost differently. There used to be workshops here, and now it seems all the shop owners and traders are gone. Tell me lieutenant, where did they go?” **Rogue Captain Mitchell Willis steps from the central building “It seems you’re asking too many questions, Ray of the White Wolf.”** *All members of the Guild prepared their blades and take their weapons from the holsters.* Ray “Is that so Captain Mitchell. **Rogue Captain Mitchell Willis “I’m afraid it is. Did you forget the sweet bounty on your head?** *Ray winked to Inoa, and she pressed the button; therefore the Rookie advanced to the outpost.* **Rogue Captain Mitchell Willis “why don’t you lay down your weapons, and perhaps we can discuss it in my office?”** **Ray “Or what?”** **Rogue Captain Mitchell Willis “We will force you.” Then the rogue guild members stepped closer and surrounded them.”** **Ray laughed and Aniela and Inoa did as too.** **Rogue Captain Mitchell Willis “Is this funny too, you.”** Ray “Yes it is. Rookie? You are clear to engage.” ***#23 Then Ray dropped an Energy bubble shield and the Rookie and the UF fired upon the Rogue guild. Thus, they infiltrated the outpost and the Battle emerged. As Ray, Inoa and Aniela battled the officers, the Rogue captain raged and walked away as his soldiers battled the UF.*** **Ray “Rookie, help the UF, and free the prisoners.”** ***The player helps the UF soldiers and frees all 12 prisoners. Then, when all rogue guild members are defeated, a loud explosion is heard. The player moves to the location where the White wolf is battling against the Rogue captain. Defeat him and get more clues.*** ## 4 **Note 5: Defeat the Boss: Stop the Rogue Captain** The mercenaries work together with the Order of the white wolf and battle against the rogue Captain, eventually, they win and finally head deeper into the wild lands to find the source. ***Quest: Make your way to the new location and defeat enemies along your way. The NPC’s explain about food, fishing and other food and rest mechanics]*** ***#24***** Rogue Captain Mitchell Willis laying on the ground defeated and slowly bleeding out. “To bad Ray, you're too late. They are making progress, and you're loosing ground. You will never reach the mines on time…”** Ray “The mines? Tell me, what does the Legion want?” *But before he can speak, the Sergeant of the UF scream.* **“Take cover! Artillery! Get away from the outpost now.** ***#25 The player and the guild members rush out of the outpost and a few seconds later, the outpost and all the rogue members are blown to shreds by artillery fire. After the player gets back to the white wolf members to regrouped back in the forest border.*** ***#26***** Aniela“ you survived! Good job.”** Inoa “Not bad Rookie.” **Ray “We don’t have time, we need to head to the mines as swiftly as we can! We rest along the way”** ***#27 Then after travelling to the desert area, they stop for a river and Ray explains about fishing.*** ***#GM3***** Ray “Here Rookie, A fishing Rod. You can use this to catch fish. Cooking them can help you replenish your stamina and HP. Come to the bonfire if you caught something.** ***#GM4 The Rookie catches a fish and returns to the bonfire.*** ***#GM5*** Inoa “Good job Rookie, now let's eat. Two other friendly guilds are battling against the Legion's army. The Rookie and the White wolf help to defeat the shadow monsters and the androids. They head to the main gate where they see the enlarged muscular commander meditating as his dark red aura is spreading like radiation. The members head into the hall, the boss opens his eyes and slowly walks to them.*** ***#34***** Legion Boss “Tell me, Ray Silver. How do foul peasants like you manage to find us without your great leader? How is it that after all the dread we bestow on you, you still manage to withstand our inevitable dominion of this planet.** Ray “Simple, we follow his code. But I thought the same.” **Legion Boss “Cocky, but so naive… Fine, then I show you my true power!”** ***As the legion boss took a deep breath, his eyes began to gleam red, and all souls of the fallen warriors were sucked into his Aura, as it gradually enhanced his power. The spirit pressure multiplied, and the dark aura was visible, and he grew large horns and long red hair with large fangs. The Rookie and the White wolf battles ones more against the boss, yet now his attacks dealt twice as much damage.*** **Legion Boss “Now feel my wrath, foul peasants** **Ray “Brace yourself!** ***#36 The final battle begins, they destroy the boss and free the mountains. However, they discovered it was just an android replica.*** ***#37***** Ray “That's impossible, he is an android.”** Inoa “Remarkable, how can an android emit so much spirit pressure?” **Aniela “I guess we are missing something here guys. Because it's scientifically impossible.** ***Then from the boss’s body a hologram of black ether emerged, a dark entity emerged.*** **Dark entity “The coming dread is hanging in the air like an oppressive cloud, now you stray like ants… It looms over you with a sinister presence and threatens to consume you whole. You claim to brave enough to enter our domain, but are too ignorant to see with open eyes.
